Pwede na ba 'to? O! Ayos ga ang itsura ko? -- Just some of the words uttered throughout the photoshoot. Expectations vs. reality: didn't expect that reality would be this awesome. Wouldn't be possible without the help of Light and his camera.

Let's get to know a little more (yes, a little of more) of them shall we?

Benedict Joseph Cruz

Vice-Chairperson for Education and Research

Is this ok for the BENCH billboard?

A third year BS in Biology major and a doctor-in-the-making, Benedict Joseph Cruz or Benjo is the person that makes sure resident members are studying (kind of, but he does many other things more than this). Packed with e-books in the thumb drive and real books in his bag, he heads programs and provides opportunities for the academic welfare of the members to name a few. We'll see what he can really do as a VC.

Nobody likes to go outside on rainy days, and nobody wants to experience extreme heat from the sun during working days. If given the chance, I'd make an environment optimal to human productivity and social interaction. No more calamities, no more hazards, no more floods; this power will not only help organization-related activities, it will also help other Filipinos across the country to never again experience the horrors of human-induced natural calamities."

Kim Catigan

Vice-Chairperson for External Affairs

The next Victoria's Secret's angel (Training in progress)

The Spanish chica from Nasugbu. She is a European Languages student with Spanish as her major (hence, Spanish chica) and is now on her fourth year, soon to graduate(?). Don't be deceived by her model-like beauty for she can really pack a punch when it comes to dealing with anyone she deems to have wronged her or her friends. As an Exaf head, she and her committee members organize socio-civic activities for the welfare of the UP community, fellow Batangueños and Filipinos. Let's watch as Kim models her way as the Exaf head.

Note, hindi ito same as time travel na pwede ka magtravel to the future, gusto ko pabalik lang pwede. Kasi gusto ko maranasan ang activities/experiences sa Batangan in a normal, non-superhero way, and if ever I made a mistake, gusto ko matuto muna sa mistakes na 'yun before going back in time to make it better."

Jasper Edward Orense

Vice-Chairperson for Finance

Wait lang, inaayos ko pa sleeves ko

No receipt, no reimbursement - The one that controls the piggy bank of the org, Jasper Edward Orense or simply Jasper facilitates the flow of money, in and out of the org. A third year Civil engineering student, he will show what he can do to plan and administer financial programs that will aid the organization in its undertakings. Watch as he rises up to the challenges of money-shortage and other financial dilemmas.

Ayan, ano pa ba ang kailangan nating superpower, kundi SUPERPOWER OF LOVE. HAHAHAHAH Pero yung totoo, kung meron tayong superpower of love, napakarami nating matatamasa as an org. Kung mas lalo nating mamahalin ang org at ang mga miyembro, aba eh lahat ng ating ginagawa ay nabibigyan ng dahilan. That's all. Thank you."

 

John Mark Edrhum Ani

Ang kati ng ilong ko

While Jasper is rising up to the challenges, Edrhum is making additional challenges. Known as the spender of the org's funds, the Inte committee maintains and develops harmonious relationships among the members. For that to be possible, Edrhum must head his committee in organizing social and bonding activities. We'll see what his gimmicks can do for the org through the course of this year.

Baka nga magkaroon pa tayo ng bagong tambayan. Speakers, food, microphone, projector. Lahat ng kailangan para sa isang event."

Kamla Isabel Alcantara

Vice-Chairperson for Membership

Ngalay na ako, puwede na ba akong gumalaw?

She will psych you up! (corny). A BA psychology student, Kamla will surely apply his knowledge of the human behavior in finding and recruiting members. Kamla's beliefs also make her an exceptional leader. She will do anything to find future members so that the Batangan legacy will continue. Her other duties include the taking charge of the renewal of membership. Let's wait for the positive number of applicants that will become members.

Gusto ko ng Superhuman Intelligence, para makaisip ako ng madaming creative at makabuluhang activities para sa ikauunlad at mas ika-aastig pa ng Batangan."

Oh? Look at this beautiful grass

Oh look! It's a picture of me not facing the camera (lol). A biology major on my fourth year, I have the duty of keeping the records of all meetings, important documents and correspondences of the

organization and shall make them available to the General Assembly. Even though my handwriting is like of a doctor's (maybe I'll become one) and is hardly legible, I will still do my best in becoming a secretary.

Kung magkakaroon ka ng powers or magiging superhero ka, paano ka makakatulong sa Batangan? - "I want to have the power to manipulate time para mapahaba ko ang isang minuto, lalo na kung nagca-cram! Hahah! Pero hindi ko ito gagamitin para mag-cram. Ako lang yung maaapektuhan ng powers na ito pero magagamit ko ito para mas mapahaba pa ang time ko with the org (cheesy) at magawa ko ng ayos ang lahat ng duties and responsibilities ko."

The Italian major, who will bring us pasta and pizza (just kidding). Her beautiful smile portrays her caring and thoughtful side (maybe she'll enter showbusiness). She assists the Chairperson in her administrative function and also handles alumni relations. Let's find out how she can affect others with her killer smile.

I'm FABULOUS!

Si Madam - Our boss, Jezelle or Je is very beautiful and amazing person (I swear I wasn't paid). But behind this beauty is an emotional and playful personality that only a few know (those few include me). Je is currently searching for herself she's currently inclined to languages. As the chairperson, she acts as the official representative in all matters where representation maybe required or agreed upon and may appoint any member of the Executive Council on her behalf. Let's all watch how she will supervise the organization (maybe in a multilingual way?).

Kung ano yung mga gusto nilang activities at para maaddress din yung mga problema internally and externally. Malalaman ko din yung mga idea nila at mga creative things na pwedeng gawin ng org. Mind control, para hindi mahirap magpasunod tapos magkakaroon ng maayos na sistema ang org nyan. HINDI! UNLIMITED WISHES TALAGA FROM THE GENIE ANG GUSTO KOOOO!"
